A strong local voice for Iramoo

Commitments

Rates and Charges: As a candidate for Wyndham City Council, I am committed to advocate for reduced rates to ease the financial burden on our community. I will work to streamline our budget and cut costs to ensure fair and equitable rates. Let’s create a more affordable and prosperous Wyndham City together.
Community Safety: Advocate for a satellite police station around Cornerstone Estate in Werribee or Mambourin to cover the areas of Harpley, Cornerstone estate, Mambourin and Little River.
Education and Youth Development: Support education by partnering with schools and promoting youth development through sports activities.
Transport and Infrastructure: Enhance public transport options and improve road infrastructure for safe and efficient mobility. Supporting over $60 million for the Ison Road Overpass through taxes paid by Wyndham residents.
Road Upgrade and Freight Terminal: Prioritize the upgrade of key roads in Little River, including Old Melbourne Road, Rothwell Road, and McLean Road. I will stand firmly against the proposed freight terminal in Little River. We will protect our Little River community’s future together.
Bringing Rail to Black Forest Road: The Council has no dedicated short-term advocacy plan for Black Forest Road Train Station. They’re prioritising Tarneit and Truganina first. I’ll fight to fast-track advocacy for the Black Forest Road Station.
Revitalize Lollipop Creek Pathways Accessibility: I will prioritise the redesign of Lollipop Creek pathways to address frequent flooding, ensuring they remain accessible year-round for our community’s safe and convenient passage.
Deliver Wyndham Vale North Plan: I will push for full funding and delivery of the Wyndham Vale North Master Plan, focusing on upgrading the Iramoo Community Centre for scouts, kindergarten services, and supporting our local CFA.
Cultural Celebration: Host a multicultural food festival to celebrate diversity, promote cultural understanding, drive economic development, and engage the community.
